Improvised KD range spotters

From CW2 Knote.

I was tasked with running a Known Distance range for a unit and was having trouble getting spotters and spindles, so I made my own.

I cut my own spotters out of paneling with my 3″ hole saw on my drill press, (3\8 inch center bit) and rolled my own spindles out of paper- 3 layers of 8 1/2 inch by 5 1/2 inch isosceles triangles rolled from the widest edge to the point.

Thought you’d find it interesting.
