Major Luke Gosnell (AGR), Operations Officer for 2100 MI Group, of the Military Intelligence Readiness Command placed 7th in this Championship. He began competing for the US Army Reserve Marksmanship Training and Competitive Program (USAR-CMP) in December 2015 as the first team first action/practical shooting competitor.

The USAR-CMP represents the forefront of small arms skill in the Reserves and are the only formally proven and acknowledged experts on the proper use and training of small arms across the force. These shooter-instructors are some of the world’s best trained small arms marksmen, conducting small arms training, hosting marksmanship events and competing at major venues throughout the United States and abroad. Army Regulation 140–1, Chapter 7 directs small arms programs and competition within the US Army Reserve.
