Original U.S. Army Trainfire video

U.S. Army Trainfire has had several changes since its implementation in 1955. This video demonstrates how Trainfire used to be conducted. Note, the original course culminated into eight tables of fire, including shooting from position and while advancing on targets.

    Real memory jogger. That is  the beach range at Ft Ord where I did my AIT in 66.Only thing missing is the big holes in the center of those pop ups.Memory of that training and what came a month later was what drove some of the changes to the program later on. Joe Silvia
